…would be a documentary of my travels through Italy – part guide, part cookbook that incorporates techniques, stories, interviews and recipes from the heart and soul of Italy’s regions. The book would bring to life the magic of the little nooks and crannies, those rare finds when traveling on foot and finding the most adorable restaurant or hole-in-the-wall bakery with the finest biscotti. In addition, it would be experiencing cooking with the locals and documenting the tips and tricks of Italian homes and secrets passed down from generation to generation. Let’s not forget traveling through the vineyards of Tuscany during Harvest and experiencing the harvest festival of Chianti.

I think this would be an awesome book for you to write and I could totally see you doing it too. Your passion for your culture comes across in some many aspects of your life… from your classroom, to your personality, to your apartment. It’d be cool to read a “travel” book from a local perspective. I’d buy it, or I’d just go with you to Italy for the real thing!
